Back to the original template ...

Practicing portraiture on myself. LOL, I haven't
perfected my lighting (or my look).
...with a few modifications. Feedback has confirmed that the Dynamic View template on Blogger has too many downsides to continue. So until the powers that be over at Blogger make some adjustments, I will continue with my previous template. I have removed a few of the applications that resulted in the page looking too cluttered (for me that is). The label cloud took up way too much space and I doubt that anyone ever used it to search for topics. The Recent Comments application also fell by the wayside. If someone wants to read comments by other readers, simply click on 'comments' at the foot of the post and that section will open. I've retained the Favorite Blogs list, which I greatly missed. You can, once again, see the blogs I regularly read as well as the last post date for that site.

I've used a simpler template this time, appropriately named Simple Template.  Once again, I welcome your feedback via either a comment or an e-mail.

Think I'll stick with Urban landscape

  1. I like the clean look. This template works. It's less busy and lets your photos stand on their own.

  2. Thanks Marc. I think I've found what I was looking for.

We hope we can see you when we are in town next month.
Arrive April 22 and depart May 3.

  3. I like it, easy to read, loads fast. The dynamic is my least favorite template.
I've used word clouds once in awhile but usually on things like craft or DIY blogs.

    regards,
    Theresa

  5. Love the photos. Even the one of yourself. The lighting gives it the look of an old-fashioned postcard.

  6. I'm late to the party here, but I'm very happy you went with this template and not the other. I read the post where you changed and was thinking, "But I'm reading this in the old format." I just had to read forward to see where you decided to go back. I have no fondness for the Dynamic Views...I feel it loads slower and I really miss the links to other blogs with their last update. Thank you.

  7. Hi Nancy,
Yes, I very quickly realized that readers did not like the Dynamic View, so I changed back to the older template with a simple format which I like much better. Thanks for commenting. I'm glad to see that you didn't cross us off your blog list! :D
